About Dr. Mollé

Dr. Stephen Mollé received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.  Shortly after graduation, he joined the New Zealand Holistic Medicine Society, the only institution at that time which had a holistic veterinary focus.  Throughout his career, he has studied and lived overseas, which is where he was first exposed to the use of herbal medicines, acupuncture, and nutritional therapy to promote and maintain health.  He is also one of the few veterinarians who has taken courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  Today he continues a holistic approach in his practice.

Dr. Mollé has co-authored veterinarian research articles and has worked in zoos, clinics, and emergency facilities in several states, expanding his expertise from household pets to jungle wildlife.  He holds veterinary licenses in Kentucky and Michigan as well as a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) certification to inspect animals and plants for interstate and international transport. Additionally, Dr. Mollé has worked in and supervised the Michigan Humane Society in Westland, Michigan.

In the early 1990s Dr. Mollé began doing veterinary house calls, allowing him the most efficient, compassionate, and effective way to treat his patients.  By viewing pets in their home setting he has been able to see firsthand how their lifestyle may be impacting their health.  While many veterinarians do house calls for large animals, such as horses, or operate mobile clinics to reach out to pet owners, Dr. Mollé is one of the few veterinarians in Michigan who does house calls for traditional house pets.

Today, while the majority of his practice is a personalized house call service, Dr. Mollé also continues to see patients and perform surgery at his clinic just outside of Holly, Michigan.
